Bishop Dr. Milton Glass

Bishop Dr. Milton Glass has spent over twenty years traveling all over the country singing God’s praises with the Fabulous Archie Singers of Greenwood, MS. Not realizing his calling, he kept ministering in songs until God said, “it’s time to preach my Word.” On December 2, 1993, which is also his birthday, Bishop Glass answered the call of our Lord and Savior. In 1995, he became the pastor of New Green Grove Baptist Church, which is now New Green Grove Church of Faith in Greenwood, MS. He was ordained as Bishop Milton Glass in 2002. In 2004, he became the overseer of Living Word Church of Faith located in Lake City, Florida which is under the leadership of Pastor Vernon Singleton and his wife, Evangelist Mitzi Singleton and overseer of Word of Life Evangelistic Outreach Ministry in Seattle, WA under the leadership of Apostle Sandra D. Little.

He is a full-time pastor and lives his life just to help others.  Bishop Glass has held various jobs over the years. He says that they are too numerous to name, but all of them were serving the community in one capacity or another. That is what he loves most.  His favorite saying is, “Nothing will happen today that you and the Lord cannot handle.”

Bishop Glass is married to Minister Dorothy Johnson Glass and he is the oldest son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jessie Glass, Sr. He is a 1966 graduate of Amanda Elzy High School, where he was an active member of the school choir. After graduating from high school, he attended Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS and later joined the United States Army where he served both active and reserve duties for eleven years.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from Exodus School of the Bible and his Master’s and Doctorate degree from Abundant Blessings Theological Seminary.
