New Green Grove Church of Faith welcomes everyone into our fellowship. Anyone who wants to join as a member is welcome. If and when you decide to join our church, we encourage you to attend New Membership Orientation. New Membership Orientation is designed to give you essential information about New Green Grove and to make you feel more comfortable here. Therefore, your first order of business as a new member is to complete all three sessions of orientation. New membership orientation classes are held in January, March, May, July, September and November at 9:00 during Sunday school. The first Sunday’s focus is the meaning of church membership, salvation, baptism, stewardship, tithe and communion. The second and third Sundays focuses on spiritual growth and clarifies why your spiritual growth is important and words of encouragement from the Pastor. We encourage you to go straight through each session but if you miss a session, simply note the Sunday that you missed and attend that class the next scheduled month. Upon completion of the new membership orientation, you will receive a certificate of completion.

As Christians, one of our main goals is to grow to be like our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Upon conversion, we are like little spiritual babies who must grow to spiritual adulthood. As we do so, we will become more and more like Christ and our lives will glow with God’s power and radiate with his GLORY! Jesus said, “I must be about my Father’s business” and so should you!! We encourage you to be about our Father’s business by working within the different ministries within the church—ushering, outreach ministries, youth ministries, pastor’s aid, choir, etc. There are many ministries and auxiliaries and they can use your help to carry out the work. We are members of a family here, God’s family, and just like any normal family, we all have chores and duties we must do. We ask that you come to New Green Grove to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
